Sissy was my first aussie and a wonderful companion, protector and soul
mate.  She was almost 2 when I got her from Karen Maxey and very
soon we were bonded like glue.  She was only bred twice for a total of 13
puppies yet earned her ROMIIX through the awards of her progeny.  She
produced 7 conformation CH, a super dog, Triple CH AKC, CKC, ASCA,
as well as a herding titled dog and several obedience title winners.  Most
importantly she produced my BUSTER a dog of a lifetime.  I have few
pictures of Sissy but did find this one and the one on the top of each
page with her second litter and Buster looking on.
She was a special dog and a love.  When Doyle lost
his leg in a horse accident Honey became his nurse
and protector. She laid on the bed next to his stump
and I had to drag her off the bed to go outside.  She
also made sure no one came near  him including his
dogs until he was securely walking.  Her daughter
Blueberry inherited her loving nature and took on
and raised a lone border pup Rose who's mother
had no milk along with her litter of aussies.
